Angolan Writer

Here's a fellow children's writer in Angola. She reminds us of a group of Africans we don't usually talk about - the Portugese speaking Africans of the Republic of Angola or Republica de Angola.

Writer Presents Children’s Book in Luanda

The children’s short story book entitled Palacio Cinzento, Uma Peripécia em Benguela, by the teacher Carolina Lagutorp was releasd on Thursday in Luanda.

According to her, the initiative is a response to the lack of literary production for juveniles and aims also at stimulating the habit of reading among children.The writer Kanguimbo Ananás, who presented the work, said it reflects the historic relation between Angola and Portugal and presents an imaginary and realistic world of the children in these countries.
